Nurse

Connections Health Wellness Advocacy has immediate openings for a nurses to work in an outpatient behavioral health clinic setting at various East and Westside locations on day shift position, no night or weekends. Responsibilities include providing pharmacological interventions to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness within the office and/or community setting. Requirements include licensure as LPN or RN in the State of Ohio, experience in behavioral health nursing or psychiatric care preferred.

Bi-Lingual Nurse

Connections Health Wellness Advocacy hashas an openings for a bi-lingual nurses, fluent in both English and Spanish, to work in an outpatient behavioral health clinic setting at  our Westside location on day shift position, no night or weekends. Responsibilities include providing pharmacological interventions to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness within the office and/or community setting. Requirements include licensure as LPN or RN in the State of Ohio, experience in behavioral health nursing or psychiatric care preferred.

Benefit Specialist

Immediate opening for a Benefits Specialist  Responsibilities include meeting with consumers with severe mental illness to assess their eligibility for benefits including Medicaid, Social Security, etc. Benefits Specialist will also assist clients and their families with applying for benefits in the community. Will work closely with other staff in understanding benefit process and maintain good working relationship with ODJFS. Experience with department of human services a plus. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in the social service profession.

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Providers (CPST)

Immediate openings for CPST staff in multiple specialty programs at east and west side locations. CPST staff will provide a wide range of interventions to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness within the community setting. Job responsibilities include: assessment of needs, linkage to resources, advocacy, symptom monitoring, and assistance with the management of the symptoms of psychiatric illnesses. Knowledge of benefits and entitlements such as SSI/SSD, Medicaid and Medicare eligibility preferred. Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in the social service profession, experience as a CPST is preferred.
